Man of God

God has called a righteous man to impact, impart into and empower His people with the love and power God.

Reverend John Felder (better known as Pastor John) was born in Florence, South Carolina and is the youngest of eight children. At the age of sixteen, Pastor John accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was raised and nurtured in a Christian family which provided spiritual nourishment and a clear vision for the calling upon his life. He is married to Minister Tina Felder and has four children.

Prior to planting Powerhouse Faith & Deliverance Ministries, Pastor John was a member of the Gospel of St. Luke Church for thirty four years which was founded by his father, Robert Felder, Sr. and pastored by his sister, Reverend Josie Smith. He served in leadership capacity for over 25 years, including 5 years as the associate pastor.

As a graduate of Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Master of Professional Studies, in Church Development, respectively; Pastor John has developed a heightened sense of the Great Commission and an increased love for the souls of the people.

With an unwavering belief that there is but one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, Pastor John and the PowerHouse Ministry operate as vehicles to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and function with the intent to convey the word of God which is affirmed in the Holy Bible.

While Pastor John has successfully spearheaded a variety of spiritual and life changing facets of ministry, it's the implementation of small group discipling that drives the ministry into fulfilling its' mission of impacting, imparting into and empowering others. This is because it provides the ministry with the opportunity to focus on and address immediate needs and concerns in a holistic manner which empowers individuals to mature into disciples of Christ (equipped and abled helpers of others). Just as Jesus Christ grew His disciples and released them into the world to share the gospel, Pastor John Felder, as well as those in the body of Christ, are commissioned to do the same.
